Today I headed from Tulum to the ancient Mayan site of Chichen Itza. One of the biggest Mayan cities and a jewel in their empire. I’ll let the photos here speak for themselves.
After we headed to Merida and checked it a hostel in the central Plaza or Zocalo.
The hostel was part of a big old house; apparently the home of the Spanish conqueror of Mexico. When we arrived a traditonal Mexican dance was taking place right in front of us.
